A Brave New World?

I came across this article on screening human embryos in the Washington Post today. I found it incredibly disturbing; not only that it is taking place in Great Britain and is occurring unregulated here in the U.S., but also the possibilities of where this practice could lead in the near future. The overall importance and value of Human Life and Dignity seems to be on a decrease and my soul is deeply troubled.

"The value of a society can be measured by the way they treat their citizens at the beginning of life, at the end of life, and on the fringe of life." ~ My Mother
